Hi everyone! This post is running a tad bit late because I’m pretty convinced technology just likes to turn on me when I’m pressed for time. Ah well, I suppose it’s better late than never! For day two of my Holiday Blog Week, I wanted to share a little Spotify playlist I made with. The playlist has some of my favourite Holiday/Christmas Tunes that get me into a slightly less grinchy spirit–unless I’ve heard them on repeat for an entire day, which, no human should really do. Unless you’re very into Christmas music…in which case, you can just hit the fancy little replay button on this playlist all day long!
While I don’t really start listening to Christmas music until mid-way through December, I do have a few hours where I like to listen to CDs from my childhood, and decorate the house. My personal favourite CDs? Christmas with Boney M. and Smith Kids Christmas. I can still remember dancing around my house to these CDs and annoying my sister who did not (and still does not) understand why I insisted on listening to these CDs. But as I grew up, I did listen to a variety of Christmas music beyond these two CDs, which has given me an appreciation for old classics (lookin’ at you here Burl Ives), and newer gems (Mariah Carey still gets me lip syncing in the car).
