FabFitFun Spring 2018 Box Inside

This Fab Fit Sun Spring 2018 post is a little late into the spring, but if you live in Canada, then you’ll still appreciate it considering how late spring made its appearance. I’ve been subscribed to FabFitFun boxes for almost a year now, and I love that it shows up right to my doorstep with items that help me keep a balanced lifestyle. And if you too want to get in on the FabFitFun-fun, then keep your eyes peeled at the end of the post for a code to save those dolla bills!

With that said, I think the Spring 2018 box was the most underwhelming box I’ve had so far. Not to say it was a bad pick of goodies, but it didn’t have products I absolutely love. Let’s get into the contents shall we?

  • Rachel Pally Reversible Clutch in Paradise
  • Anderson Lilley Candle in Fresh Linen
  • Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion
  • Dermeleet Cosmeceuticals Makeover Concealing Ridge Filler
  • Physique 57 Massage Roller
  • Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask
  • KNC Beauty All Natural Collagen Infused Lip Mask (5 pack)
  • EttikaDay Dreamer Tassel Earrings

Rachel Pally Reversible Clutch in Paradise

Rachel Palley Clutch Foldover

This is the product in the FabFitFun box that immediately caught my eye. It’s the perfect little clutch for springtime and summertime outings, and can be especially useful for garden parties or weddings where you need a nice accessory to dress things up.

Anderson Lilley Candle in Fresh Linen

Anderson Lilley Candle

Every girl loves candles, but I don’t love this one. The scent is wonderful, but holy moly. It is one hell of a defective product. I followed all the burning instructions, and the flame ended up going about 20cm high. I blew it out after a minute or two, hopped onto the Anderson Lilley FB page and saw that other people’s candles had exploded.

So while the candle smells great, don’t burn it!

Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask

Free People Starry Eyed Sleeping Mask

If I had to pick a standout item of the Spring FabFitFun box, it would be the Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask. One, I love Free People designs. I think they’re always fun. But in terms of practicality, this mask is perfect. The elastic doesn’t dig into my skull, and the material actually feels soft against the eyes. The best part? The gel insert that fills the mask. If you stick it in the freezer for a bit and pop it back into the mask, it can really help relax you after a long day. It’s also great if you suffer from bad headaches or migraines.

Ettika Day Dreamer Tassel Earrings

Tassel Earrings Ettika

I wish I loved these earrings a little bit more…but they aren’t really doing anything for me. I know that tassles are back in, and trust me, I do love a tassel when it’s done well. But I remember owning earrings like these a few years ago. This just feels like an unnecessary repeat, and an expensive one at that. They are fun to wear with some outfits, but because my ears are sensitive, I can’t wear them for too long either.

KNC Beauty All Natural Collagen Infused Lip Mask

KNC Beauty Lip Plumping Mask

Admittedly, I haven’t used these yet. I’m a little nervous to pop anything “plumping” on my lips because I associate plumping with that weird, tingly plumping sensation. But I am keen on trying these eventually when I muster up the courage. There’s 5 in the pack, so it breaks down to a $5 cost per mask, which is quite reasonable if you were to buy it on their own.

Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion

Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion

I haven’t tried this one yet because I am overly dedicated to my Body Shop skincare routine, but I have heard pretty great things about Murad. I do like that it is oil free and claims to help reduce any skin irritation, so it is a much safer bet that a lot of face products out there.

Dermeleet Cosmeceuticals Makeover Concealing Ridge Filler

Mermelect Concealing Ridge Filler

Listen, if I had time to do my nails since receiving the box, I would have used this. But I haven’t. This product is meant to help fill in those pesky nail ridges. I don’t have many rigdes, but I know its something that creeps up depending on your diet and genetics.

Physique 57 Massage Roller

I got to use my Massage Roller quite briefly to roll over some of my tense back and leg muscles. Let me tell you, it hurts like hell but it feels sooooo good on your muscles. The bond with my massage roller was cut short when my sister saw it. Because she’s pregnant and always needs her legs pressed, I decided that her needs were much greater than mine. Actually, she insisted they were and I didn’t haven much of a choice. She’s been enjoying the roller as much as I did. Happy pregnant lady = a very happy sister, ya feel?

ISH Lip Statement Pallet

This is a very cute eye palette filled with pinks, reds and neutrals—perfect for spring and summer. I don’t wear pigmented lip colours that often, but these ones are incredibly soft and go on smoothly and actually work with my skin colour. Three things that are important to me.

The downside, is that the palette isn’t something I’d slip into my purse so touch-ups on the go are a no.

So there you have it. Those are my thoughts on the Spring 2018 FabFitFun Box. But I bet you’re here, looking for the SAVINGS CODE for the Summer 2018 FabFitFun Box.
